Punishment is delivered (the dominant) in a BDSM relationship when the submissive disobeys the rules set for her or acts in a way that offends her Dom. It’s a means of dealing with unwelcome, disrespectful, naughty, or poor behavior.
It needs to be something that the submissive doesn’t find enjoyable and doesn’t go against her rigid limitations. Remember that BDSM is a roleplaying game.
You’re using BDSM punishments as a corrective measure to make sure she learns from her mistakes and doesn’t repeat them. You must maintain her respect and desire to submit to you. It is never fun for anyone if you are too harsh with your punishments or in your punishment selection.
Punishments for Submissive
BDSM punishments come in a variety of forms.
The following are some of the BDSM punishment categories to get you started, as well as some basic punishment examples.
It’s not a comprehensive list, but it’s an excellent place to start.
Sexual Punishments
The sub is punished by denying her sexual pleasure (orgasm denial, no sex for a week, or no touching herself) or performing a sexual act she dislikes (anal, facials, etc.).
Punishments based on Public Humiliation
The sub must perform a humiliating deed, such as standing naked in front of a window, wearing a sign around her neck, or writing on her body. What constitutes humiliation differs by sub. If these behaviors turn on your slave, humiliation punishments are not a good idea.
Harsh Punishments
In some cases, the sub is whipped, flogged, slapped, or tortured. Kneeling on rice, standing in a stressful position, being forced to sleep without a blanket, having an ice cube run over your body, and getting a cold shower are all examples. However, if your slave is turned on by pain, harsh punishments are not a good idea.
Minor Punishments
Punishments from any of the other categories may be used, but they must be administered less severely. Using an ice cube to run over her breasts, for example, would be a mild punishment, but forcing her to insert an ice cube inside her vagina would be more severe.
Verbal Punishments
This is a scolding or a verbal reprimand. If you’re a Daddy Dom with little sub, verbal punishments are sufficient, as littles thrive on praise. Knowing that their Daddy isn’t pleased with them is enough to make them change their ways.
Emotional and Psychological Punishments
These are more psychological. Mental sub punishments include:
- Timeouts
- No chatting
- Removing her collar
- No social media
- An early sleep.
