Now, look back into your past and review all the mistakes and sins that you have committed till date. From the pettiest lie to the worst crime—you have done it all. Despite all this, the Lord has not stopped loving you. Like a caring and patient mother waiting for her child to improve. God has been patiently waiting for you to start your spiritual journey.

So, don’t become a victim of guilt or fear. While it is your duty to God to lead a good life, you must remember that the Lord will never stop believing in you. More often than not, we fail because we don’t believe in ourselves. So, trust God and proceed ahead without any fear or doubts.

No Man is an Island

Many spiritual enthusiasts make the mistake of forgetting that service to others is the highest form of prayer. A Cenacle prayer to a friend or relative struggling with life will probably make God happier than hours of meditation or days of penance and fasting.

You owe your existence to your parents. Imagine a life without your spouse, children, friends, and other companions. Would such a life be worth living? Of course, many persons use this as a license to do whatever they want without being honest about their intentions. The Lord is patiently waiting for such persons to change for the better. Understand the Distinction between Faith & Trust

Faith is unreasonable, illogical, and unscientific. Trust is based on facts. Faith is based on the inner voice. Don’t trust God. Have faith. Blind faith. The Lord will never allow something bad to happen to you. If you feel something bad is happening, then simply try to find out how the event or incident can prove to be beneficial.

Instead of judging and assessing God, choose to judge your beliefs and opinions instead. Life is a long journey and very few people are wise enough to understand what the future holds. Have faith in the Lord just as a child thrown in the air has faith that his parent will not let him fall. This is not easy. However, this is not impossible either. If your prayer goes unanswered, then always remember that the Lord probably has something better in store.

For a spiritual person, every moment is an opportunity to get closer to God. Choose any way or method that pleases you. The important thing is to focus on making progress at all times.
